As for what I am looking forward to this weekend, there are a couple events that have caught my eye…

Tonight I am really excited about watching this film called Samsara, playing at the Guild Cinema in Nob Hill.

I saw it yesterday and was so moved that I have to see it again.The film is one of the most vivid and captivating pieces of moving imagery I have ever seen. To give you a taste check out the trailer:

The composer of the film will be there at the 8:00pm showing tonight, and I will have a full post about the film later. So I dont want to give too much away now. But the movie is only playing at the Guild Cinema till Monday. So click that link to check showtimes and be sure to put it on your TODO list this weekend. You wont be disappointed.

On the more active side this weekend, Im excited for the Marigold & Harvest Festival presented by the folks of Farm & Table/La Parada/SOL Harvest Farm. Its a fun filled day including Yoga, local food vendors, food demonstrations,  music and so much more. Its all in honor of celebrating October being Local Food Month, getting people to know where their food comes from and supporting local farmers.  PLUS, in the spirit of Dia de los Muertos, there will art supplies and festive merchandise for sale. As for Sunday, Im not sure yet…Lets see where the wind takes me.
