All in a Days Work

Well today was quite a busy day for me. Lots of assignments on the list, emails to send, to do list full…Im starting to really feel what it is to have a big boy job. But I can honestly say I love everything that I have to do. Especially when you have this to start off your morning…

That right, I ate a cherry pie for breakfast. Guess where it was from? The only place that is famous for having the most pies in one establishment. Thats right, Village Inn, or to make it more trendy, VI.

This morning we had the always wonderful VI Regional Manager, Mr. John Christopher, come in and show us some the gourmet delights found up at Village Inn.

Here he is with Nikki as she joyously takes a bite out of freshly cooked bacon. Today he cooked turkey, avocado, and bacon flatmelt that is coming out on the new VI menu. And for breakfa-dessert, of course he brought an assortment of 8 pies. OoC (Out of Control) good.

But that was just how my morning started. Later in the day, I went to an awesome brewery on the north end of town with Kenny, NM Style videographer extraordinaire.

Look at the determination on his face to get this shot. The man is… legit, a monster on the camera. We were hanging out and interviewing the guys over at Bosque Brewery,  a new microbrewery/bar that just opened up off of San Mateo and Alameda. They have a great ambiance in the place and everyone is super friendly. Plus its always awesome to go to a place where the people who own it are truly passionate about what they make. You cant brew your own beer without putting some TLC in it.

If you are a beer enthusiast, you will defintely enjoy what Bosque Brewing has to offer, and plus its the only place of its kind in that area.

With their 5 different brews, they are sure to please all types of palates and preferences.

So that was my day. From being surrounded by delicious food, to being enveloped in tasty beer. Do I love my job? I believe so.
