My First Cooking SegmentJanuary 28th, 2013 at 12:15 pm by michaelnewman under Face of Fox
With the Super Bowl coming up this weekend, I thought it would be cool to do a little cooking segment on how to cook a simple side dish for a Superbowl party. Using all leftover ingredients from the New Mexico Style set, I put together a Bell Pepper Salsa with black beans. It came out pretty good, check out some of the pics.
Here I am setting up the shot for my colleagues. I “seem” to think I know how it should look. I should probably leave it to the pro’s.
Here is Stephanie handling the big camera for the first time, she makes it look easy. Meanwhile I’m talking about the difference between red, yellow, and green bell peppers.
Watch me demonstrate how to chop a bell pepper!
This is where I do my fancy pan toss. Showing off the wrist skills.
And lastly a little garnish for the finished product. Doesn’t that look good!? All we were missing was a good tortilla chip.
Considering this was my first cooking segment on camera, Id say the food came out good. Be on the lookout for the finished video! Until then, I hope I gave you some good healthy food ideas for that Superbowl party this weekend.
