New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez will be going to Washington on Friday, as she was invited by Vice President Joe Biden to attend a Cinco de Mayo party at his home in Washington.
Albuquerque restaurant owner Tim Harris was made an honorary AFD Firefighter yesterday. Tim is believed to be the only person with down syndrome in the country who owns and operates his own restaurant. The city also honored him with a “Hero” coin which is handed out to people who go above and beyond to help out the community.
Santa Fe resident, Elona Cruz, makes a deal today on the TV game show “Let’s Make A Deal.”
At the taping, Elona was one of 15 contestants chosen from an audience of 200!
