Family circle magazine has named Rio Rancho as one of its “10 Best Towns for Families.” To create this year’s list, the magazine analyzed which cities most closely met their family friendly criteria, which include: affordable homes, quality schools, access to health care, green space, a low crime rate and financial stability. The magazine specifically noted amenities like the Rio Rancho Aquatic Center, Rio Rancho Sports Complex, city parks, and bike paths.
A local brewery is creating a beer that pays tribute to the hit show “Breaking Bad”. In a post on Instagram — “Marble Brewery” announced it would be making the tribute beer called “Heisenberg’s Dark”– an Indian Black Ale named after Walter White’s alter ego on the hit AMC show. Characters on the show have been featured drinking marble beers before. The final season of the hit series starts on August 11.
