Today’s your last chance to say good-bye to “lonesome Dave Cargo”. He’s the maverick who became the state’s youngest governor back in 1966 when he was just 37 years old. Cargo had a stroke a couple of years ago. He died last week at an Albuquerque nursing home at 84 years old. A funeral mass is being held this morning at the Saint Francis Basilica at 10AM. He’ll then be buried at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
