October is not only the month for Halloween and sweets, but it’s also the time for National Dental Hygiene Month. This makes it the perfect time for parents to keep the health of their kid’s teeth in check, especially after eating all the goodies on Thursday night. David Romero is live at UNM Department of Dental Medicine with two dentists and their recommendations.

If you’re looking for some Halloween fun and safety, there’s an app for all that. Here to share them with us is Nyika Allen from App City Life. Usually she’s building apps for things like the zoo and ABQ Ride, but today it’s all about Halloween.

As we near Halloween, this also brings on the holiday season. And one local group will soon make sure kids less fortunate across 100 countries don’t go without this season. Joining us now is Bill Merhege to tell us all about “Operation Christmas Child.”

Having a dog can be a lot fun, but while they may be fun to have keeping them healthy is a big task. We all love Halloween treats, but our pets do not. In fact, some can even be deadly to them. Doctor Veronica Bingamon is here to talk with us about making sure your dog stays fit and healthy.

We try to protect our skin from harmful sun rays and weather elements during the summer, but what about the winter? Dr. Barrett Zlotoff tells us more.

Soon you’ll be heading out with the kids to go trick-or-treating. But before you do, there’s some candy safety tips to keep in mind to ensure your family’s safety.

The Albuquerque Isotopes and Donut Mart are teaming up tomorrow for “Breakfast for Badges” here with me now is Kim Stoebick and Laura Verillo with the Albuquerque Isotopes.

With family and CLOSE friends one is never too old to trick or treat. In general 14 yr olds (or tall/large/mature looking ) kids need to enjoy the holiday by escourting the little ones, handing out candy, or parties. DON’T SCARE THE CANDY GIVERS :)

Bill Merhege gave some awesome information regarding Operation Christmas Child. I never understand why the news and media outlets don’t do more coverage on this very important organization that does so much for the worlds most needy and deprived children! Please do more to get the word out!!! Thank you!
