On 2 KASA This Morning
Many people are shopping for gifts for loved ones today, but some also are helping out the little ones whose parents can’t afford that because of hard times. That’s all thanks to the efforts of the U.S. Marines’ Toys for Tots campaign and the many generous people of New Mexico who have donated unopened toys. David Romero reports on where collections stand as the campaign heads into its final days of collecting toys.
Meanwhile in the 2 KASA This Morning studio we’re joined Marine Maj. Brian Cillessen who explains how the Toys for Tots Foundation makes a positive difference for thousands of kids around the country.
We’re also hosting a phone bank for Toys for Tots. You can call 1-877-715-7400 to learn how you can help or to make a credit-card donation to the cause.
It is the biggest shopping day of the year: Black Friday! We sent KRQE News 13 reporter Samantha McDonald to check out the action at the Coronado Center in northeast Albuquerque.
It’s almost time for the annual ABQ RIDE Christmas Eve Luminaria Tour, and tickets went on sale early this morning. Expect the hour-long bus tours through the Country Club and Los Altos neighborhoods and the Old Town Plaza to sell out, so get moving if you’re interested.
Question of the Day
Today is Black Friday with ambitious shoppers lining up early. What we want to know from you at home is: Which deals are you after this Black Friday?
It’s Black Friday, which means door buster deals on so many things–even pets. Lucky Paws Adoption Center in Coronado Center is taking 50 percent off adoption fees on pets who are 6 months and older. This is only happening today from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Coronado Center is located on Menaul at Louisiana in northeast Albuquerque.

Deal of the Day
There are plenty of deals happening today, but remember to save some of your spending money for tomorrow. That’s “Small Business Saturday” where consumers are encouraged to shop on Main Street and support local businesses. The holiday was founded by American Express in 2010 to encourage consumers to keep their money recycling back through the community and support your friends and neighbors.
Job of the Day
Health Action New Mexico is looking for someone to fill an outreach and education position. In that position you would outreach and public awareness support. For details and to apply»

Next Time on 2 KASA This Morning
On Monday here on 2 KASA This Morning we’re rolling into December with snowman books. And we’ll be talking about the Marines’ Toys for Tots again giving it the final push.
