Santa Fe resident, acting legend, author, artist, activist… the list really goes on and on when we’re talking about Shirley MacLaine.  I don’t typically get star-struck anymore.  I’ve had the great opportunity of working with some big names in the biz, but there are certain folks that still leave stars in my eyes.  Ms. MacLaine is one of them.  Very excited to be talking to her about her new book, What if?, as well as her life in entertainment.  Be sure you’re tuned in at 9 for the interview!

And for the young female filmmakers out there, we’ll be talking about a project that trains and empowers young ladies to realize their artistic vision in the biz.  The Media Literacy Project’s “Girl Tech” provides young ladies the opportunity to learn producing, directing, casting, screenwriting, cinematography and editing.  Um, I want to sign up for this!

We’re also talking with Bree Ortiz about the upcoming Twinkle Light Parade.  On December 7th, you can participate in the parade and Nob Hill Shop & Stroll between Carlisle and Girard on Central.  If you’ve every had a hankering to participate, you still can.  Enrollment fees start at $25 depending on your category.  If you have wheels, twinkly lights and Christmas cheer, you can participate.  Dial 311 or log on to for more information.

And its Pie Rush Wednesday at Village Inn.  John Christopher is back in the Builder’s Source Kitchen with our heap of yummy pies and a sample of their traditional Thanksgiving menu!  Get more information online at

Tomorrow, we’re talking to Mark Consuelos about his new show with Roseanne’s hubby, (TV hubby, that is) John Goodman.

Until tomorrow, amigos!
