Today is National Recycling Day across the country and it’s a good time to remind everyone just how crucial it is that items are recycled and turned into something new, but saving the environment at the same time. That’s what’s happening right now in Albuquerque after the city’s Solid Waste Management Department issued large recycle barrels to homes. Official’s estimate that will eventually put a huge dent in the materials tossed away in landfills. David Romero spoke with a few folks around town and found out most are on the recycling bandwagon.
When the fall and winter get here, you might think bicycling season is over, but it’s not. Winter bicycling can actually be quite rewarding if you’re prepared. That is what Sport Systems owner Jerry Shere is here to talk with us about.
