Happy Thanksgiving Eve, everyone! If you missed the show, you missed a lot of fun. We started in early with 2 KASA This Morning and carried through with a lot of craziness and festivities.
On Style, we were talking with my man Howie Kaibel of Yelp.com about the Shop Local Crawl on December 10th. We all know how important it is to shop local and Howie’s sharing with us a fun way to get your holiday shopping done, support local business and have a great time. Find out more at Yelp.com.
On a more serious note, we’re talking with Designated Drivers on Demand, a program that will get you and your car home safely if you’ve had too much to drink. Founder Phil Baca stops in to share the story of how the business came about and how their unique operation is keeping the roads of the metro area safer. Be responsible this holiday season, y’all!
We’re also taking back the music with the Standing O’ Project. Founded in New Mexico by John Dillon, this organization that started as a radio station has morphed into a unique online music experience linking artists and fans like never before. Get in on the revolution at standingoproject.com.
Also, we’re learning about an exciting program that will get your little ones running and kicking -getting jazzed about soccer. Lil’ Kickers offers classes from 18 months to 9 years for kiddos wanting to bend it like Beckham. Jeremiah Pena is in the studio sharing the fun details about how our babies can become soccer stars.
And lastly, the Gay Men’s Chorus of New Mexico is gearing up for their holiday celebration in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Their 2013 show is My Winter Song to You and will warm your heart for the holidays. With three shows total, you have limited time to see it.
Tune in tomorrow for a very special Thanksgiving Style and 2 KASA Morning! Make it a great day, y’all!
And thanks to viewer Nathan Hamilton for our incredible pic of the day!
