Nearly everyone in the state will agree that there is nothing like the food from New Mexico.  There’s also no better ambassador to welcome visitors to the state or send them off than in the airport with that food. That’s where nationally recognized Tia Juanita’s Restaurant is playing a big role in welcoming and sending off passengers in the Albuquerque Sunport. David Romero stopped by there yesterday and shows us what’s drawing all the patrons in.

So you have plans for lots of holiday parties, but do you know how to behave yourself at them? Rita Chalamidas,  an etiquette expert, is here to put me to the test.

Christmas is a special time of year and in New Mexico it’s also magical. There is so much to take in and do to enjoy the holiday. And much of that includes right here in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Here to talk about it all is Jolene Mauer with the New Mexico Tourism Department.

While pregnant, it’s a good idea to stay healthy, exercise lightly and remain stress free. In your busy life this could be hard to do. Denise Gonzales, the manager from Blissful Spirits hot yoga studio, is here to show us and you some yoga moves you can do while pregnant.

There is a cold front moving into the state this week and this is also the time that many families are making trips to visit families for the holidays. That makes it all the more important to remind you before you head out to keep an eye on some critical things in your car and make sure you’re prepared before you hit the road.

Special Olympics New Mexico provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Here with me now is Erin Gallegos, communication manager with Special Olympics New Mexico.

A nationwide traveling exhibition showcasing original work created by the talented teen winners of the 2013 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is in Albuquerque. Here with me now is Erica Garcia, curriculum and community coordinator at the national Hispanic Cultural Center.
