Shop. Stroll. Be Happy.December 6th, 2013 at 1:52 pm by chadbrummett under 2 KASA Style
This weekend, get out and shop local. You have three chances to celebrate the season at various locations around town and contribute to our local economy.
Starting tonight, you can hit up the holiday stroll in Old Town. Be there as they light the tree, the kiddos can meet Santa, and you can walk away with some wonderful gifts at incredible prices. The fun starts around 4pm today. Be sure to arrive early as parking will fill up fast! For more info, log on to their website!
Tomorrow, hop over to Nob Hill for the Shop and Stroll and Twinkle Light Parade. Central will be closed off tomorrow during the day and evening to enjoy the crisp winter weather, get your local shopping done and enjoy some great food from one of the many eateries in the neighborhood. Be sure to stick around after the sun goes down for the annual Twinkle Light Parade. The largest holiday parade in New Mexico rolls down Central starting at 5:15. Get there to get good seats along the parade route. While you’re there, stop by and say hi to me, as well as Brittany Flowers, your Face of Fox. More online at the City’s website.
And both Saturday and Sunday will be busy in the North Valley for the Fourth Street Stop and Shop. Dozens of local shops will be featuring killer give-aways, great discounts and unique items, and the wonderful sights and sounds of the season will abound along the North Valley corridor. Find out more here.
Be safe out there this weekend. With temperatures not getting much above freezing the next few days, black ice will be possible. Stay safe and have a great weekend!
