Most moms heading to the grocery store or shopping in general are looking for a bargain or coupon to save some money. Clipping coupons from the paper is quickly becoming a thing of the past with smartphone apps taking its place. David Romero found a company here in town which is creating those apps and helping a lot of people in the process.
We all know certain nutrients are important to have in your diet, one for example is protein. It’s something we’re supposed to have in every meal. But why? Courtney Byrd, a certified nutrition coach and personal trainer is here to tell us more.
Sometimes marriages fail or end in death, but instead of staying single more couples are choosing to remarry. Dealing with your financial wellbeing could be confusing during this time. But our financial advisor and vice president of Charles Schwab and company, Mike Bonds, is here to talk about.
There is always the question at Christmas time of what can the kids get their parents, especially when they may have a limited budget. River of Lights is a fundraising event for the BioPark, staff and animal supplies, along with conservation efforts and school outreach.
The River of Lights runs nightly from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and runs thru January 5. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 3-years-old and older.
