Give your kids a leg up in 2014 (literally).

We’re talking with The Little Gym this morning about the various programs they offer for kiddos 4 months to 12 years.  They offer a wide variety of classes from karate, tumbling gymnastics and dance to suit the fancy of any little athlete.  We welcomed two very talented youngsters into the studio today to show off their moves.

If your kiddos need more help in academia, we’ve got that covered as well.  Eye Level Learning Center offers a unique perspective on education -the POV of your child.  Raven Skye is in the studio sharing the details on how this program can help with those hard-to-reach areas of study and how you can give your child the boost they need to start their new semesters.

If you’re looking to revitalize your health in 2014, Mary Baca of Resilience Integrative Services is laying down the gauntlet to join her in the 90 Day Challenge to Whole Body Wellness.  Unlike a personal trainer, RIS offers a comprehensive wellness program that will heal mind and body from the inside out.

Speaking of healing, take some time for yourself at Ojo Caliente.  The Northern New Mexico natural springs offers multiple options for detox, relaxation, wellness and fine dining.  Their stellar accommodations make it the perfect stay-cay destination for a weekend of wellness.

You need some sweet wheels to get up to Ojo?  Why not head over to Galles Chevrolet and check out the all-new 2014 Silverado.  The truck is a finalist in the North American Truck of the Year competition and we’re getting in for a ride along with Al Unser III on this fully-equipped beast of a ride.

Lastly, and on a completely different subject, I’ll be heading over to the Downtown Contemporary Gallery to check out The Creepshow: A Tribute to Stephen King.  I’ve been a huge fan of the Master of Horror’s work for years and now, we can get some killer art from NM artists inspired by his stories.  You have to make an appointment to see the show.  However, you can join them from 6-9p on the 17th for their closing party.  Head’s up -the “Salem’s Lot” print is MINE!

Join us tomorrow at 7am for an all-new 2 KASA Mornings, folks!
