New Mexico is a beautiful state, but some of the land may be releasing a silent killer into some of our homes. We are talking about radon gas which naturally occurs in the ground in some parts of the state. Our David Romero tells us this is Radon Awareness Month and a good time to make sure your home is checked as a precaution.
Comic book fans from near and far are in town for the fourth annual Albuquerque Comic Con. It’s not just the books that attract the fans. It’s also the artists, writers, media artists, vendors and the celebrities. Comic con’s Jim Burleson tells us what fans can expect this year.
A local laser scientist recently got some recognition from the president himself. Research physicist Dr. Greg Anthony Pitz was honored by President Obama with a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers. He’s here to talk about his research and how it may one day protect aircraft.
