Nowadays it seems everyone is so stressed out that a massage sounds great at any time of the day. The group at Crystal Mountain Massage practice and perform those stress relieving massages on patients daily.

When you think of martial arts a list that come to mind is probably made up of Kung Fu, taekwondo, karate and jiu jitsu. Today we’re talking about Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that combines fight, dance, rhythm and movement between players. Joining us is Mestre Virgulino Xuxa, the academy manager, and some other capoeirista’s from Capoeira Cangaco CDO.

The New Mexico Department of Health says its seeing an increase in flu activity in the past few weeks especially in southeast New Mexico where 15-percent of those checking into hospitals have flu-like symptoms. So, it’s definitely time to start thinking about getting your flu vaccines if you haven’t already. Here to talk more about this is communications coordinator for the Red Cross of New Mexico, Beverly Allen.

You have the opportunity to have fun and help fund critical equipment programs at UNMCarrieTingleyHospital and provide funding for research. It’s through the 2014 Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation Mudd Volleyball Tournament. Here with us now is chair of the event, Phil Prevender.

Some of us are always looking for some tips to get us running at our best. Who better to ask than the University of New Mexico head track and field coach, Joe Franklin.
