If you are wondering how to start a gluten-free diet, making your gluten-free transition and eliminating gluten from your life can be a little difficult. Chef Jan Laird is here with me to talk about her gluten-free baking and cooking classes.

In the village of Corrales is a home operated by the AlbuquerqueMuseum. It’s a historically accurate replica of Hacienda that once stood there in the 19th century and it provides a glimpse back at what Spanish colonial life was like along the Rio Grande. It’s called Casa San Ysidro. Here to talk more about it is Carol Lopez, site manager for Casa San Ysidro.

Sometimes finding things to do with the younger kids may be hard to do if you’re not at home. Luckily, the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science has you covered. Cirrelda Snider-Bryan is an early childhood educator there who is going to talk to us about prehistoric pre-school.

NASA’S twin robot geologists, the mars exploration rovers, launched toward Mars in June 2003, in search of answers about the history of water on Mars. They landed on Mars in January 2004. In honor of that landing, the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science are hosting an exhibit. Here to tell us about it is Doctor Larry Crumpler, research curator at the museum.

Couples counseling is something that can make some people cringe or feel empowered by. Here with me now is relationship coach Ana Loiselle.

Community Calendar

Art Start is a one hour gallery experience for kid’s ages 3 to 5-years-old and their caregivers happening at the Albuquerque Museum. Today’s theme is “all things shiny and bright.” That goes on from 9:30 to 10:30 this morning.

Admission is free for 3-year-olds and $1 for 4 to 5-year-olds. Admission for parents is $4 and $3 for New Mexico residents. Registration is required.
